Susan Shida (Susan Aluoch)

Susan is a soccer player and in Nairobi Kenya. Her favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo. She shares the vision that soccer is a way to a better life, and a way to empower women and create equal opportunities for everybody.

Susan is also a very skilled freestyle performer as can be seen on videos taken of her. Since her first performance for Soccerade, she has lost a 14 year old niece in a car accident and her older brother passed away after a long period of illness. Over the last three years, she has lost three key family members. Stories like this are quite common in Western Kenya.
